Hey-

what a fantastic story about Buttercup and Hot Legs! I am a palomino owner myself, and my young mare has a lot in common with your Buttercup. I hope she will be 43 as well, but that must have been quite a miracle!
I have come across Hot Legs a couple of times when "studying" horse pedigrees, and know i finally found the fantastic horse!:)

well, I just had to comment on your lovely, unfortunately late, palominos.
They are absolutely stunning!

Best regards-

Rebecca, Denmark

I always look forward to my clinics with Gigi even though I burn @ 10,000 calories. As a former student of another Mikolka student, I am never disapointed. Gigi has a great eye for both the horse and rider and never falls short of corrective excercises.

Hi Gigi...just wanted to say thank-you for a wonderful lesson and making me proud of myself and whatever horse I sit on, regardless of the breed or skill level!

i found gigi on the internet, & have become a great fan of her accomplishments, her integrity, & her values. i wish i were closer, so that i could take advantage of her instruction. gigi is an inspiration to people who are born without a silver spoon, but born instead with a silver spur. a silver spur is a compulsion & obsession to make horses a part of one's life. it is also an obsession to continue to the best of our abilities to increase our knowledge & understanding of the horse for HIS benefit, not for our personal gain. i hope the rest of you know how very lucky you are to have met gigi.

When I was younger I was a student of Gigi's at Bit by Bit farm for many years. You helped me stay away from the bad things that kids get into at that age, helped me feed my love for horses and build my confidence as a person. Gigi, I only wish you farm was closer because I would love to be riding again! Thank you for giving me a place to hang out and a role model to look up to while I was growing up.

I happened upon your website and started to read all of horses stories and found many of them very touching, especially early on in your career. Thank you for sharing...

I enjoyed reading your journal just now. I appreciate the update on the clinic with Carl. Sounds like fun. Made me wish I had something to ride.

Gigi,
I really appreciate that you came out to Applewood Farm to get me started with my new young Wurttemberg warmblood "Forrest Gump". It's quite a difference from my beloved Arabian Beau to this hot-shot big mover, and your help is essential for our training.

Thank you so much to Gigi for all you knowledge, support and friendship. Without you we NEVER would have earned our bronze medal AND get our fourth level scores for our silver. You have taught us so much and I truly am grateful for the ability to think and ride for myself. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

It seams that Fahrenheight has burnt fast. Before knowing me Gigi, you where in your first way, and Winnie gives u a new start. But you are true Gigi mysterious creature. Is it the count, whatever more loing we think to be or not, Horse is
a fixed idea, that lead to the point.
