If you have read this biography in it's entirety, you should have a much keener sense of my background, experience and motivations. I hope you find it helpful in determining if I am the type of rider, and person, you would like to work with. ggclosup.jpgThe instructors I have trained with have made an enormous impact on the type of rider I am today. Take the time to learn all you can about an instructor before such an important decision. Once that decision is made, offer a commitment to that trainer and give them a fair chance to guide you along the road of understanding. In exchange for such a commitment you should expect tangible results.

My personal road has had its share of unexpected twists and turns along with tremendous highs and regrettable lows. I wouldn't change much of what I have experienced up to now. While hard at times, it has led me to a place where I can realize a feeling of contentment. I ride because I love to, not because I have to. I train to help a horse understand what he is capable of, not because of what I have to do in some show ring. I teach because, to this day, I still get excited when a student begins to grasp a riding concept and moves one step closer to harmony with their horse.

From Tony the Pony to Buttercup to Georgie Girl and Wendel, I have loved them all. Regardless of style, breed or discipline, I hope horses occupy as wonderful a part of your life as they have in mine.

Best of luck in your riding,

Gigi
